Brand New Day/Central Health: 2023 Virtual Training for the Central Valley

As we head into our busy AEP season, I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all that you do and all your efforts in considering Brand New Day and Central Health Plan for your clients!

A few reminders:

• BND’s DSNP plan 24 is closed for new enrollment effective 1/1/2023 in Fresno, Madera, and Kings counties. The alternative plan would be the Embrace Choice (plan 40-2) for Medi Medi patients, it they have a qualified diagnosis. If they do not qualify for the Embrace Choice plan, please consider the Classic Care Plan designed for full duals, plan 50-2.

• BND’s DSNP plan 24 will still be open to enrollment in Kern and Tulare counties.

• BND’s Embrace Choice plans (40-1 and 40-2) will offer $0 RX copay on all formulary medications for members that qualify for LIS Tiers 1-3.

• BND’s Embrace plans (39-1 and 39-2) will offer several Insulins at a $0 copayment!

• CHP’s CSNP plan for Fresno County offers a $50 Part B Rebate with $0 for inpatient hospitalization!
